Today's Top 5

It's been a while since my last post here and I've been deciding what to put in.  I've an idea for a long term project but that will have to wait until more time can be set aside on a regular basis but in the mean time  I've come up with a Top 5 type of series, where I will list my 5 favourite X

The first will be my Top 5 favourite characters/TV personalities.

Number 5:

Number 5 on the list is Judge Judy.

The no-nonsense courtroom judge who dispenses justice with little empathy towards the idiots and the stupid people of the world.  She will even tell you outright whether or not you are a complete idiot with memorable phrases like:

"Have you ever heard of the KISS principle? Keep It Simple, Stupid?"
"You are not a good witness. Because a good witness answers a Judge's question directly, and my question to you was a very simple one. A SIX YEAR OLD COULD ANSWER IT!!!"
"Don't spit on my cupcake and tell me it's frosting."

It's even better when you see the other person squirm under her

Number 4: Rowan Atkinson

Rowan Atkinson in any of his comedic roles is pure gold.  His expressiveness means that he doesn't even have to speak to play a fantastic comedy role ala Mr Bean.  He manages to pull of the dry, acerbic wit of Black Adder with nothing short of pure genius.  Personally, these two roles are what I like him for the best, possibly because they are two opposite characters.

Number 3: Stewie Griffin

The youngest member of the Griffin family, but by far the funniest, with his constant efforts to slay his mother and his plans for world domination, it's hard not to adore the little guy.  No matter what plans go awry, he'll always be back with new one ready to put in into action.

Number 2: Ralph Wiggum

Ralph is the ultimate non sequitar.  You can almost guarantee that no matter what he says, it will have absolutely no bearing on what is taking place on the scene, but he does it in such a way that he is completely oblivious to how it makes no sense.  In his mind, it's a perfectly reasonable observation and comment to the current conversation.  However, occasionally there shines through the possibility that he is smarter then he appears to be.  No matter the case, he is a character that is at once lovable and hysterically funny.

Number 1: Karen Walker

Drunk, high, immoral.  All of these can be used to describe Karen Walker.  A person so politically incorrect that it's nothing but funny.  Constantly drunk and does not want to see the ensuring battle when Pharmacist and Back-Up Pharmacist meet.  Her high-pitched voice delivers perfect one liners that make you hold your sides with laughter and she doesn't do an ounce of work, in fact, she pays HER boss.  It's a good reason she's number one.
