Well, it's been a little while since I posted last, partly because I've been rather ill lately and partly because of other things, the birth of my niece for one. Anyway, as I've been sick, I made a trip to the supermarket to pick up one of those travel packs of tissues, the small ones.
Well, I noticed something that I thought was odd, and I've noticed it with a number of other things as well, not just tissues. Now, this pack had 4 of those pocket packs in them and in each pocket pack there were 9 tissues. 9 tissues seems like such an odd number. Wouldn't it make more sense to make it a nice round number, like 10? Does 1 extra tissue make that much of a difference? Or is it because the packs are based on their weight? I couldn't say as to the weight of the pack as it doesn't say on the individual packs how much they weigh and I was so wasted with the illness when I bought them I didn't care about the packaging of the whole pack, I just needed a tissue. As I said, I've noticed this type of quantity in other things as well and am rather curious as to the explanation. If someone knows, let me know!
